ATL FALCONS:
50 YEARS OF HIP-HOP

The Mercedes Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons had the idea to create a photo moment on the field level tunnel entrance that would tribute the 50 Years of Hip-Hop. We were sub-contracted to design out the concept for what this would be and look like, then lead the execution of the build out. The goal was to show the cultural influences between Hip-Hop and the Atlanta Falcons past teams to the present. With that in mind, the installation we set to create was a custom, built from scratch, huge DJ Mixing board with 1 side of the deck spinning the throwback Falcons vinyl, and the other deck spinning the present Falcons vinyl.

 

To elevate the photo moment we had the idea to create a platform that would be a classic Hip-Hop staple, and we created a custom built Atlanta Falcons “4 Finger Ring” that people could stand on. The installation was such a success, so many different VIP celebrity  guest stopped by to have their pictures taken with the art. The Atlanta Falcons even had 1 of their games be a 50 Years Of Hip-Hop tribute where they specially invited all of Atlanta’s legendary Hip-Hop artists to be apart of the moment.
